Cherai Beach

Cherai Beach is one of the best naturally endowed coastal areas of Kerala.  With its long clean golden sands on one side and the calm serene backwaters on the other, this coconut tree-frilled corridor of land is unique in its beauty and history.  Although the tourism potential of this destination was previously ignore, in 2001 all the major tourism-related people and institutions of the area united to form a charitable society which aims to promote this precious gift from mother Nature and to increase the prosperity of Cherai Beach.
